About our Historic Ranch

Located 10 miles south of Albany, Texas this family run ranch is ideal for a time away from the hurried life of the city. Pristine, rugged, untouched terrain takes you into the experience of an earlier Texas. Gorgeous rolling terrain and hills with 175 foot elevation changes, rugged with rock outcroppings, ravines, cliffs and fertile bottomland along Deep Creek all describe the Ranch experience awaiting you.
Most people think West Texas is all tumbleweeds and treeless. You will be surprised at the variety of large trees scattered throughout the Ranch. Primarily mesquite, the list includes groves of large oak trees along the ridges and hills, beautiful native Choctaw pecans, winged elm, hackberry, willow, live oaks and Texas pistachio.
Riding, hiking or biking you will see plants unique to this area. Jumping cactus, persimmon, wild plum, ephedra, yucca, the ever present prickly pear, low growing barrel cactus and seasonal wildflowers are in abundance.
With over 12 miles of ranch roads and trails to explore the natural beauty of the 1500 acres, you can enjoy a day on your own horse or mountain bike.
If you don't have your own horse or bike, we can supply one for your use. Guided trail rides are available by appointment.
For those who are photographers, the challenge of finding that perfect photo will be your goal.
